A little about me: as my day job, I own and remotely run a US based cleaning company.
After five years bootstrapping and running the company I have decided it is time for a new challenge.
I have replaced myself in day-to-day operations and left to concentrate on learning to code.
My plan is: to find a position as a front-end developer in the next six months.
Being accepted to Founders And Coders would help me to advance this goal.
Why FAC is a good fit for me: I love teaching people. While studying at University
I set up study groups where each member would learn a chapter and teach the group.
I enjoy synthesising new knowledge to a level that I can explain it in (hopefully) simple terms.

Since applying to the last cohort of founders and coders I have rebuilt the website to improve design and reduce the number of lines of code. Click here to view what my website looked like when I last applied.
I pair programmed with Adam Zdrzalka, a friend I made at the FAC meetups, to create a review widget for my business' website. You can see how it works on a blank subpage of this website here.
Bash is a basic 2 player card game I created and coded using vanilla JS. A good learning experience which included Web Sockets, Amazon S3 and EC2. Click here to play (work in progress).
Thanks for taking the time to look through my website!
